Ralph Ronald "Baldy" Fink, 87, of Indiana, PA formerly of Clarksburg, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2011 in the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.A son of Ralph and Lucy L. (Krouse) Fink, he was born November 15, 1923 in Salina, PA.Mr. Fink enjoyed working in his yard and the outdoors. He was an avid baseball fan and liked boxing.He worked at Federal Laboratories for 42 years, retiring in 1985.Surviving are his companion, Pearl E. Smith of North Apollo; a brother, Paul Fink of Black Lick; a sister, Josephine Kaplan of New Jersey and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cleova "Pat" (Ray) Fink on November 6, 1969; a brother, Tom Fink and two sisters, Geraldine Reeger and Katherine Peace.The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Cory A. Braatz officiating.Interment will be in Harmony Cemetery, Penn Run, PA.
