Dolly Jane (Eicher) Sharp, 70, of Black Lick, PA passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at her home.A daughter of Walter and Rosella (Baird) Eicher, she was born February 7, 1940 in Johnstown, PA.Mrs. Sharp graduated from Conemaugh Township High School in 1958 and worked for Breeze Hose Clamps for 28 years, retiring in 2005.She loved to play bingo and enjoyed being with her grandchildren.Surviving are two sons, Robert L. Sharp of Black Lick and Larry J. Sharp of Blairsville; three daughters, Robin J. George and her husband, Greg of Clarksburg; Laura Shaffor and her husband, Denny of Apollo and Carmen Daugherty and her husband, Fred of Philippi, WV; four grandchildren, Shaun Lytle, Heather Shaffor, Ken Carter and Kevin Carter; a brother, Walter Eicher and a sister, Virginia Baxendale, both of Johnstown.She was preceded in death by her parents.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be at held 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy R. Monroe officiating.Interment will be private.
