Thomas Loyd Crusan, Sr., 52, of Saltsburg, PA (Conemaugh Twp.) passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Excela Health Jeannette Hospice Center, Jeannette, PA.A son of Ralph D. and Mary Louise (Quick) Crusan, he was born February 14, 1958 in Latrobe, PA.Mr. Crusan was a member of the Tunnelton-Conemaugh Twp. Volunteer Fire Department.He was employed by Gorell Windows and Doors, Indiana, PA.He was an avid outdoorsman.Surviving are his wife, Jennifer (Carpenter) Crusan of Clarksburg; four sons, Matthew J. Saltsgiver of Clarksburg; Thomas L. Crusan, Jr., Gary E. Crusan and Ralph J. Crusan, all of Saltsburg; two daughters, Tammi Crusan of Saltsburg and Elizabeth N. Crusan of Blairsville; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Saltsgiver and Summer Crusan; six brothers, Ralph Duane Crusan and his wife, Cindy of Minnesota; Darryl Crusan and Donald Crusan, both of Saltsburg; David Crusan of Blairsville; Samuel Crusan and his wife, Diane of Saltsburg and James Crusan and his wife, Lori of Greensburg; four sisters, Dorothy Gallo and her husband, Gary of Homer City; Gerry Jellison and her husband, Duane of Blairsville; Mary Jo McClure and her husband, David of Harrisburg and Lisa Fink of Blairsville and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy R. Monroe officiating.Interment will be private.
