Geraldine Lucille (Cravener) Johns, 75, of Blairsville, PA (Burrell Twp.) passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.A daughter of Ernest and Elsie (Shultz) Cravener, she was born June 27, 1936 in Parks Twp., Armstrong Co., PA.Mrs. Johns was a member of the Hebron Lutheran Church, Blairsville.She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking.Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Donald W. Johns, whom she married July 7, 1956; two daughters, Julie J. Baker and her husband, Edgar of Blairsville and Donna L. Johns of Greensburg; a sister, Barbara Shoemaker of Vandergrift and two brothers, Blaine Cravener of Vandergrift and Robert Cravener of Winchester, VA.She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ruby Coleson and three brothers, Clair, Ed and Dale Cravener.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Jerry D. Hoch officiating. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
