Stanley Joseph Bosco, 49, of Alexandria, VA formerly of Brenizer, PA passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at his home.A son of Nicholas R. and Lillian A. "Dolly" (Flasick) Bosco, he was born December 30, 1961 in Latrobe, PA.Stanley was a member of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Washington, D.C.He graduated from Derry Area High School in 1980, St. Vincent College in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Business Communications and attended IUP in 1985 to further his degree. Stanley worked 10 years for the United States Government, Department of Transportation as an Aviation Consumer Protection Agent. He enjoyed reading, cooking, music and was in numerous musicals during his life and was very active with AA.Surviving are his parents, Nick and Dolly Bosco of Brenizer; three sisters, Suzanne Ramsey and husband, Robert of Indiana; JoAnne Sloan and husband, Mark of Duncansville and Diane Rhea and husband, Henry of Blairsville and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Anna (Sieczkowski) Flasick and his paternal grandparents, Angelo and Elisa (Brandamatti) Bosco. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held 8:30 P.M. Friday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA
