Sharon Elaine (Lawson) Losier, 53, of Derry, PA went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 in Harrisburg, PA.A daughter of Charles E. and Susan (Rose) Lawson, she was born October 3, 1957 in Latrobe, PA.Sharon was a member of the Hope Evangelical Methodist Church, Youngstown, PA.She graduated from Blairsville High School in 1975 and worked as a youth care worker for Adelphoi Village, Latrobe, PA.She enjoyed gardening and loved being with her grandchildren.Sharon is survived by her parents, Charles and Susan Lawson of Blairsville; two children, a daughter, Tonya Murphy and husband, Jamie of Plainfield, IN; a son, Sammy Losier, Jr. of Youngwood; six grandchildren, Samantha Wible, Bret Murphy, Madilyn Wible, Nicky Murphy, Kristopher Wible and Chloe Losier; three sisters, Linda Ray of Josephine; Tammy Gromley and husband, Mark of Blairsville and Sandra Rhea and husband, Dennis of Blairsville and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Hope Evangelical Methodist Church, Youngstown, PA with Pastor Wayne Rhodes, Jr. officiating.Interment will be in Coles Cemetery, Derry.Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
