Virginia Mae Smith, 81, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011 in the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.The daughter of Kenneth E. and Anna G. (Boden) Smith, she was born May 15, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA.Virginia was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville.She enjoyed going to bible study at her church and sewing.Virginia is survived by a brother, Kenneth N. Smith and wife, Cathy of Blairsville and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Janet Thoma and Marion Benzenhoefer.The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. John McMannus officiating.Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville.Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 135 E.
