Ronald Glenn Libengood, 72, of Blairsville, PA (Brenizer) passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at his home.A son of Glenn Chip and Dorothy H. (Cover) Libengood, he was born January 15, 1939 in Indiana, PA.Mr. Libengood worked as an auto mechanic his entire life in the Blairsville area.He was a veteran of the Army.He was a devoted father and grandfather and enjoyed being with his family.Surviving are two sons, David G. Libengood of Latrobe and Charles A. Libengood of Brenizer; a daughter, Brenda Koestler and husband, Michael of Brenizer; four grandchildren, Nicole L. Kerin, Alaina M. Libengood, Justine Libengood and Ryan Libengood.He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mary (Pahel) Libengood.As per Ron's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.Interment will be private.Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N.
