Mary Jane (Paros) Hinton, 57, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, PA.A daughter of Charles J. and Helen Mae (Felix) Paros, she was born June 30, 1954 in Johnstown, PA.Mary Jane graduated from Westmoreland Community College in 1989 with a registered nurses degree and from Carlow University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.She was employed by Torrance State Hospital for 16 years, retiring in 2005. She enjoyed collecting coca-cola memorabilia.Surviving are her husband, Darel S. Hinton, Sr. whom she married June 19, 1991; a daughter, Amy Lee Donahugh of Blairsville; a stepdaughter, Leah Hinton of Scarbro, WV; a stepson, Darel S. Hinton, Jr. of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Shawn Donahugh, Austin Rodkey, Simon Hinton, Maryleah Bollinger and Kali Bollinger; two sisters, Judith R. Abbruscato and husband, Tom of Blairsville; Susan Spicher and husband, Ralph of South Fork and a brother, Joseph Michael Paros and fiance, Molly N. Furman of Manassas, VAShe was preceded in death by her parents.There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.Memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army.
