Joseph Jubinsky, 86, formerly of Blairsville, PA passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at St. Andrew's Village, Indiana, PA.A son of Paul and Theresa (Laudua) Jubinsky, he was born September 28, 1924 in Jermyn, PA.Mr. Jubinsky was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the LOOM #187, Blairsville.He was employed by Torrance State Hospital for 27 years and was veteran of World War II, having served in the Army.Surviving are two brothers, Paul Jubinsky and Allan Jubinsky, both of Clifton, NJ; two sisters, Ann Demianycz and Mary Mathena, both of Forest Hills and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Angie and three brothers, Samuel, John and Walter Jubinsky.Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A Prayer service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with Fr. Chester J. Raimer officiating.Interment will be in Unity Cemetery, Latrobe, PAMilitary services will be accorded by the Blairsville VFW Post #5821 and the American Legion Post #0407.
