John Vernon Palmer, 45, of Black Lick, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Indiana, PA.The son of John V. Clawson and Margaret E. (Milliman) Palmer, he was born December 6, 1965 in Indiana, PA.John attended the Chapel of Hope, Black Lick.He graduated from Homer Center High School in 1983 and worked in construction.He enjoyed walking and playing bingo.Surviving are three sisters, Carol Frain and husband, Jim of Coral; Debbie D'Ambrosi and husband, Tony of Rome, NY and Judy McKendrick and husband, Leonard of Black Lick and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Terry and Harry Palmer and a nephew, Nathan McKendrick.There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. Sunday, May 1, at the Chapel of Hope, Black Lick, PA with Rev. Stephen K. Miller officiating.Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, West Wheatfield Twp., PA.Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA is in charge of the arrangements.
