Anna Marie (Brindle) Patti, 87, of Blairsville passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.The daughter of Richard K. and Anna P. (Shabella) Brindle, she was born December 23, 1923 in Brenizer, PA.Mrs. Patti was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA.She enjoyed swimming, shopping and watching sports when she was younger.She worked for Blairsville Machine Products Company, retiring in 1979.Surviving are a son, David D. Patti and his wife, Dorinda of Blairsville and a daughter, Cindy M. Dettore and her husband, Don of Blairsville; three grandchildren, Lynn A. Martin and her husband, Mike; Wendy Teamann and her husband, Greg and Cara Weinberg and her husband, Oren and seven great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dominic D. Patti in 1982; a brother, Harold Brindle and three sisters, Dorothy Schummer, Barbara Levi and Margaret Love.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, where a Wake service will be held at 8:30 P.M. Tuesday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville.
