Mary Louise (Guglielmi) Baracca, 94, of Blairsville, PA (Brenizer) passed on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at her home.The daughter of Joseph Carmen Guglielmi (Williams) and Mary G. (Cashier) Guglielmi, she was born May 12, 1916 in Blairsville, PA.Mrs. Baracca was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, charter member of the Italian Mutual Aid Society and Auxiliary and was a member of several card clubs.She was an avid bingo player and traveler.Surviving are a son, Martin J. Baracca and his wife, Ellen of Wallingford; four daughters, Vivian Metala and her husband, John of Brenizer; Rosemary Kerr of Columbus, OH; Patricia Suman and her husband, Ronald of Brenizer and Sandra L. Braverman of Maricopa, AZ; 10 grandchildren, Rhonda Weber, Susan Hicks, Jack Kerr, Jeff Kerr, Jim Kerr, Jay Kerr, Terri Denner, Robert Suman, Gina Balega and Joseph Campisano; 21 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a sister, Helen Moroco of Farrell, PA.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Angelo on January 27, 1991; a brother, Louis Guglielmi and two sisters, Alvera Mancini and Martha Ross.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held at 8:30 P.M. Friday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M.Saturday at the SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
