Lillian May (Sechler) Fleming, 94, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.A daughter of James and Cora (Hier) Sechler, she was born October 13, 1916 in Garrett, PA.Mrs. Fleming was a member of the Blairsville United Presbyterian Church, Mizpah Bible Class, Blairsville Grange #2012 and the Thursday Sewing Circle.Surviving are two sons, James G. Fleming of Coraopolis and Thomas R. Fleming of Pittsburgh; four daughters, Glenda Pelle and her husband, Joseph of South Lake, TX; Judy Towsey and her husband, James of New Britain; Carol Nakles Haley and her husband, Bill of Pittsburgh and Joann Paouncic and her husband, Jack of Blairsville; 11 grandchildren, David Towsey, Dana Towsey, Michelle Pelle-Hoag, Nicole Garrity, Joseph S. Pelle, Suzanne Fleming Atwood, Matthew Fleming, Lindsay Nakles, Lauren Nakles, Nathan Paouncic and Jacob Paouncic; nine great grandchildren and a brother, Gilbert Sechler of Meyersdale.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Glenn Fleming on January 22, 2010; three brothers, James, Lester and Elmer Sechler and two sisters, Margaret Bittner and Olive Snyder.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the United Presbyterian Church, 137 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA with Rev. Timothy R.
