Mildred M. (Rosborough) Murray, 92, of Derry, PA formerly of Blairsville, PA passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the home of her daughter, JoAnne Byers, Derry, PA.A daughter of William M. and Minnie (Erb) Rosborough, she was born February 9, 1920 in Blairsville, PA.Mrs. Murray was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville and was a Girl Scout leader in Blairsville for many years.She was a faithful Sunday night bingo player at St. Bartholomew Church's Marian Hall in Crabtree.Just prior to Mrs. Murray's death, the Rosborough family celebrated their 102nd family reunion. Mrs. Murray was the last surviving child of William and Minnie Rosborough. Surviving are three daughters, Shirley Vatter (Paul) of Watsontown; JoAnne Byers (Pat) of Derry and Mitzi Campbell (Dewey) of Blairsville; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and her neighbors, Bob & Faye Cochran, who were very devoted to her when she lived in Blairsville.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard in 1994; a son, Robert in 1984; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn (Shrum) Murray; two brothers, Odis "Pete" and Arthur Rosborough and four sisters, Elsie Crookshank, Florence Beatty, Marian McGarrity and Dorothy Muir.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held on Monday at 8:30 P.M. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will follow in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.Memorial contributions may be made to Excela Health Home Care & Hospice, 134 Industrial Park Road, Suite 1600, Greensburg, PA 15601, c/o Kim Kistler.
