William H. Pandullo, 74, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.A son of Samuel A. and Goldie (Shaffer) Pandullo, he was born November 11, 1937 in Salina, PA.Bill enjoyed hunting, was an avid Steelers fan and loved his dogs, Maggie and Zoey.He was employed by Amos L. Dolby Powder Company, Tunnelton, for 25 years, retiring in 2000.Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Betty P. "Polly" (Davis) Pandullo whom he married September 1, 1959; a daughter, Debbie J. Ankney of Blairsville; two granddaughters, Lindsay J. Carvalho (Josh) of Hudson, MA and Lauren J. Ankney of Blairsville; a great grandson, Mason Carvalho; three brothers, James Feretti (Mattie) of Blairsville; John Pandullo (Patricia) of NC and David Pandullo of Blairsville; two sisters, Pearl Astolos (Charles) of Saltsburg and Lena Koreni of Blairsville; a special nephew and niece, Mark and Ann Pandullo of Indiana and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Donald Ankney on September 4, 2010; two brothers, Rudy and Sam Pandullo and two sisters, Mildred Eckenrode and Gloria Young.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Beverly J. Banyay officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville.
