Esther June (Marsh) Libengood, 88, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana. PA.A daughter of Ernest E. and Bessie M. (Silvis) Marsh, she was born June 23, 1923 in Strangford, PA.Mrs. Libengood lived her entire life in Strangford and attended the two-room Strangford Elementary School and graduated from Blairsville High School in 1941.She was the organist for many years at the Strangford United Methodist Church and at the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church in Armagh. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the Strangford United Methodist Church for many years and worked years on the election board for Burrell Township.Mrs. Libengood had many hobbies including crafts, cooking and baking and spent her recent years watching cooking shows and Lawrence Welk on television with her husband, Gerald.She enjoyed her beloved pets, Tiny, Chipper and Bella. Her deepest enjoyment was spending time with her husband of 70 years and her family and friends.Surviving are her husband, Gerald C. Libengood whom she married October 22, 1941; two sons, Clayton W. Libengood (Janet) of Penn Run and Ernie L. Libengood (Mary) of Blairsville and a daughter, Marla L. McMasters (Monte) of Indiana; a former daughter-in-law, Dee Dee O'Neil of Blairsville; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey C. Libengood, Bill Libengood, Angel L. Libengood (fianc, Bill), Jason G. Foehrenbach (Christine), Brian G. Foehrenbach (Desiree'), Amy L. Fisher (John), Ernie Libengood (Shannon) and Matthew Libengood (Ashley); eight great grandchildren, Ethan Libengood, Kaleigh Libengood, Brennon Libengood, Brian Foehrenbach, Bella Lynn Foehrenbach, Koltan Foehrenbach, Gavin Foehrenbach and Emily Fisher.She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nellie McKee.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home with Rev.
