Charles Roy "Buddy" Clawson, Sr., 60, of Black Lick, PA passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.A son of Roy S. Clawson and Anna Margaret (Rick) Clawson Sullinger, he was born December 8, 1951 in Apollo, PA.Buddy greeted everyone with a smile. He would light up the room in an instant and in an instant he was gone. He loved spending time with his family and friends.Prior to his retirement in 2004, he worked for Wright-Knox Motor Lines. Buddy drove big trucks all over the United States, a profession his father taught him. He drove the big rigs for 30 years, trucking four million miles with no accidents under his belt.His newest endeavor was crafting cigar box guitars and working on his new muscle car.Surviving are four children, Cassandra Ann Liscsak of Armagh; Charles R. Clawson Jr. and his wife, M.J., of Black Lick; Christopher Clawson Sr. and his wife, Crystale of Black Lick and Jeremy Clawson of Black Lick; his partner, Lynn Houllion-Balko and Josh, Janet, Mary and Carley Fedder; grandchildren, Allison Liscsak, Savannah Liscsak, Tonee Clawson, Paige Clawson, Caroline Clawson, Emma Mae Clawson, Christopher L. Clawson Jr., Cira Clawson and Camdyn Clawson; mother, Anna Margaret Sullinger of Indiana; siblings, James Chikas and his wife, Christina of Bonaire, GA; Joseph Thaler and his wife, Marcie of Greenville, SC; Clifford Clawson and his wife, Cindy of Homer City; Linda Janosko and her husband, Thomas of Indiana; Judy Long and her husband, Edward of Home; Sue Gamble and her husband, William of Josephine; Vickie Clawson of Derry and Phylis Muir and her husband, Randy of Vintondale and was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Linda Lee (Madison) Clawson on January 13, 2003; a grandson, Nicholas Frank Liscsak and siblings, Betty Rick and Margie Rick.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 9:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Arthur Lockard officiating.Interment will be private.
