Linda Diane (Dillon) Sarver, 69, of New Derry, PA passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, PA surrounded by her loving family.A daughter of Donald and Ruth (Rummel) Dillon, she was born July 4, 1943 in Latrobe, PA.Linda graduated from Derry Area High School in 1961 and was a member of the Red Hat Society.She was very important and instrumental in helping her husband with his masonry business.Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.Surviving are her husband of almost 39 years, William M. Sarver Jr. whom she married April 13, 1974; four children, Michael J. Kenney (Theresa) of New Derry; Natalie Kromel (Don) of Raleigh, NC; Cindy Bolish (Jim) of Latrobe and Wendy Livingston (Bill) of Greensburg; six grandchildren, Michael Kenney Jr., Carley Kenney, Brandon Kromel, Nathan Kromel, Britini Kenney and Jeremy Wanichko; three sisters, Donna Betts (John) of Blairsville; Roberta Fotta (Frank) of Yucca Valley, CA and Denise Hudson (Scott) of Bedford and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents.The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Daniel R. Defassio officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
