Margaret D. (Restauri) Radford, 85, of Blairsville, PA (Derry Twp.) passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at her home.A daughter of Louis and Chiara (Persia) Restauri, she was born August 10, 1927 in Export, PA.Mrs. Radford lived in Murrysville prior to moving to Blairsville in 1984.She formerly attended the Strangford United Methodist Church and worked for Kaufmann's for 17 years, retiring in 1977.Surviving are her husband of 64 years, John H. Radford whom she married May 1, 1948; two daughters, Cynthia Hogue (Brady) of Blairsville and Rebecca Spade (John) of Brush Valley; five grandchildren, Jayne Hogue, Amber Free, Jim Hogue, Sarah Hogue and Kristie Shaffer; three great grandchildren; a brother, Gabriel Restauri of Franklin; three sisters, Elvira Zuccarini of Reading; Gilda Thompson of Murrysville and Dina Patrick of Murrysville.She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Louis Hogue and three sisters, Helen Restauri, Mafalda Restauri and Lucy Dottavio.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Brady P. Hogue officiating.Interment will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, PA.
