A. Lee Barnhart, 78, of Blairsville, PA (Derry Twp.) passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.A son of Clyde E. and Verna (Hubert) Barnhart, he was born May 22, 1934 in Latrobe, PA.Mr. Barnhart collected farm tractors, was an avid hunter and enjoyed going on world wide hunting trips.He owned Ideal Homes, Inc., Blairsville and Latrobe for 41 years and was the former owner of Windmill Farms Family Restaurant.Surviving are his wife of almost 58 years, Mary Jo (Sheffler) Barnhart who he married January 27, 1955; a son, Terry Lee Barnhart (Judith) of Blairsville; two daughters, Jo Anne Brezinski (Gregory) of Blairsville and Robin R. Barnhart of Blairsville; three grandchildren, Aaron L. Barnhart, Janice Bukovich and Brandon L. Brezinski; three great grandchildren, Catlin, Rebecca and Marissa and a great grandson due in December; a brother, Donald Barnhart of Blairsville; two sisters, Irene Kline of Belmont, OH and Dorothy Sharp (Roy) of Blairsville.He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Sam and Leonard Barnhart.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. William McGill officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA
