Sandra Lee (Bower) Nestor, 70, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Sunday October 20, 2013 in St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, DE with her family by her side. The daughter of Jay Logan and Florence (Kline) Bower, she was born January 16, 1943 in Sewickley, PA. Mrs. Nestor worked as a sales representative for Avon for 34 years. She loved shopping, going to dinner, going to casinos and all kinds of music. Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Terry Lee Nestor whom she married February 11, 1961; daughter, Debra L. Patty (John) of Greenwood, DE; son, Brian L. Nestor of Pittsburgh, PA; brother, William L. Bower (Amy) of West Lafayette, OH; her special friend, granddog, Jake and her nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy R. Monroe officiating. Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
