Dorothy May (Blazek) Moore, 84, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the home of her daughter. The daughter of Joseph and Rozella (Hartman) Blazek, she was born April 17, 1929 in Latrobe, PA.Mrs. Moore was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Blairsville, PA.She was an avid Pirates fan and enjoyed crafting and quilting.Surviving are two daughters, Donna DiBiase (Terry) of Blairsville with whom she resided and Nina Hoover (Wendell) of Dillsburg, PA and a son, Ronald Moore (Lori) of Rhode Island; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; special friends, Tom and Cheri Mumey of Rising Sun, MD and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Barbara Eleanor Nelsen and a brother, Joseph T. Blazek.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy R.
