Eleanor M. (Antonacci) Urick, 88, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the Loyalhanna Care Center, Latrobe, PA.A daughter of Joseph and Mary (Capozzi) Antonacci, she was born November 3, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA.Mrs. Urick was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, and the Catholic Daughters of America Court St. Theresa #562.She loved to cook for everyone and enjoyed taking care of the neighborhood kids.Surviving are three children, two sons, Michael J. Urick of Blairsville and Frank J. Urick of Chesterland, Ohio; a daughter, Deborah K. (Urick) LoPresti of Blairsville; two grandchildren, Desiree Urick and Dylan Dando and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Urick Jr. on January 19, 1993; a brother Michael and four sisters, Margaret Rogers, Clara Ratti, Marie Petrikovic and Jenny Esposito.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Friday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 A.M. Saturday at SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA. Catholic Daughters of America Court St. Theresa #562 will recite the rosary in the funeral home at 3:00 P.M. Friday
