Larry Robert "Butch" Anthony, 62, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.A son of Robert W. and Elsie (Adams) Anthony, he was born March 17, 1948 in Rimer Hill, PA.Mr. Anthony lived most of his life in the Blairsville area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching sports on television.He worked as a truck driver for Findish Trucking and Excavating, Latrobe, PA from 1998 to 2001.Surviving are his wife, Rebecca L. (Blystone) Anthony whom he married January 15, 1980; a daughter, Cindy Swope and her husband, Charles of Baltimore, MD; two sons, Robert Anthony and his wife, Debra of Jacksonville, FL and Kenneth Anthony and his wife, Dayonna of Blairsville; a brother, Ronald Anthony and his wife, Carolyn of Blairsville; two sisters, Kathy Anthony of Blairsville and Sandra Pape and her husband, Mark of North Babylon, NY.He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Shawn Anthony and a brother, Kenneth.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. Cory A.
