Barbara Jane (Himler) Miller, 69, of Blairsville, PA (Derry Twp.) passed away on Friday, August 27, 2010 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.A daughter of Thomas Arthur Himler, Sr. and Vivian Jane (Marks) Himler, she was born April 24, 1941 in Latrobe, PA.Mrs. Miller was a member of the New Alexandria United Methodist Church.Her life was spending time with her grandchildren.Surviving are her husband, W. Dean Miller whom she married June 30, 1961; a daughter, Deana Krinock and her husband, Tim of Latrobe; a son-in-law, Keith Vaughan of Blairsville; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Vaughan, Stephanie Vaughan, Hannah Vaughan, Katie Krinock and Mitchell Krinock; a brother, Thomas A. Himler, Jr. and his wife, Kay of Latrobe; a sister, Ruth Ann Jones and her husband, Russell of Blairsville and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Susan Kay Vaughan on January 27, 2007.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday with Rev. Linda Landers officiating.Interment will be in Union Cemetery, New Alexandria, PA.
