William Michael Lyons, 55, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.A son of Robert W. and Catherine A. (Frew) Lyons, he was born February 5, 1955 in Jeannette, PA.Bill lived in the Blairsville area for the past 30 years.Surviving are his daughter, Marianne Lyons of Blairsville; former wife, Debbie Lyons; two brothers, Marshall Lyons of Blairsville and Edward Lyons of Tennessee; four sisters, Catherine Chishko of Jeannette; Marlene Jane Lyons of Jeannette; Susan Lyons of Tennessee and Charlotte Yunkes.He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Edward and a sister, Inez.As per Bill's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.Interment will be private.Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA is in charge of the arrangements.
