Dorothy (Lore) Ropp, 85, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the Greensburg Care Center, Greensburg, PA.A daughter of William Floyd and Marie (Stoller) Lore, she was born March 21, 1925 in Blairsville, PA.Mrs. Ropp lived in Blairsville her entire life and graduated from Blairsville High School in 1943.She was a member of the Hebron Lutheran Church, Blairsville.She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt.Surviving are a sister-in-law, Lois E. Lore of Greensburg; a son-in-law, Leroy C. Burnheimer of Blairsville and four nephews, Barry, Bill, Jim and Bob Lore.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; a son, Robert; a daughter, Judy D. Burnheimer and two brothers, Robert E. Lore and William Lore.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Beverly J. Banyay officiating.Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville.
