William Robinson "W.R." Dunlap, 95, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.A son of James B. and Nora (Dunlap) Dunlap, he was born June 14, 1915 in Derry Twp., PA.Mr. Dunlap was a member of the Tunnelton Presbyterian Church where he was an elder and served as treasurer for 18 years, Acacia Lodge #355 F&AM, Blairsville, Tall Cedars of Lebanon Westmoreland Forrest #77, Coudersport Consistory, Syria Shrine, Blairsville Grange #2012 and the State and National Grange.He was a self-employed farmer and owned and operated a coalmine on his farm.Surviving are several nieces and nephews and two great nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anna (McLaughlin) Dunlap on September 2, 2009 and five sisters, Helen McGuerter, Louella Archibald, Agnes Waddle, Roxie Vorlage and Grace Kepple.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Cory A.
