Esther Mae (Murphy) Hilty, 81, of Clarksburg, PA passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.A daughter of Adam T. and Catherine (Kelly) Murphy, she was born March 27, 1929 in New Alexandria, PA.Mrs. Hilty was a member of the Aultman Baptist Church.She enjoyed going to church and loved her dog.Surviving is a son, Charles C. Hilty, Jr. of Clarksburg; a grandson, Erik M. Hilty and a great-grandchild, Carter Ryan Hilty.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles C. Hilty Sr. on April 26, 2009; six brothers, Jacob, William, James, Roy, Homer and Lawrence Murphy and two sisters, Mary Lyons and Daisy Hilty.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday with Rev. Charles Harvey officiating.Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville.
