Stella (Ostach) Jubinski, 89, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 in the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.A daughter of Paul and Kathryn (Niemiec) Ostach, she was born July 27, 1920 in Black Lick, PA.Mrs. Jubinski was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, and worked at Torrance State Hospital for 25 years.Surviving are five children, Carol Jubinski of Doylestown; Patricia Gambol and her husband, Frank of Blairsville; Eugene Jubinski and his wife, JoAnne of Dublin, OH; Fran Jubinski of Blairsville and Jacqueline Jubinski of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Luke Jubinski, John Gambol, Mary Lane, Samuel, Jack and Jessica Jubinski; four great grandchildren, Boxidara Gambol, Goodwin Lane, Jordan and Jenna Jubinski.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Samuel C. Jubinski on November 4, 1999; four brothers, Victor, Joseph, Andrew and Rudy Ostach and two sisters, Mary Bogdanski and Virginia Ostach.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held at 8:30 P.M. Friday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville.
