Arthur Emerson Duncan, 70, of Black Lick, PA passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at his home.A son of Arthur C. and Vernie I. (Howard) Duncan, he was born July 14, 1939 in Indiana, PA.Mr. Duncan lived his entire life in Black Lick and worked for Vale Tech, Blairsville, as a carpenter.Surviving are three daughters, Kelly and Mary of Arizona and Cindy of Pennsylvania; six sisters, Pearl Stitt, Velma Demar, Mary Ellen Miller and Sally Buzzinotti and her husband, James, all of Black Lick; Ethel Bailey of New Florence and Nora Jean Krouse of Clymer and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, infant George, Leroy Duncan and Clarence Duncan and a sister Lilly Duncan.As per the wishes of Arthur, there will be no visitation or funeral service.Interment will be in Luther Chapel Cemetery, Coral, PA.Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut Street, Blairsville, PA is in charge of the arrangements.
