Mark Andrew Snyder, 47, of Blairsville, PA passed away on unexpectedly Monday, December 21, 2009 while at work.The son of Ronald M. and Ruth M. (Smith) Snyder, he was born June 9, 1962 in White Twp., PA.Mark loved riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his family and friends.He graduated from Blairsville High School in 1980 and worked for AMFIRE Mining Co., Nolo, PA. He enjoyed his job and working with his eight buddies on his crew.Surviving are his wife, Carmella M. (Irwin) Snyder to whom he married on March 21, 2002; parents, Ronald and Ruth Snyder of Black Lick; three stepchildren, Nicholas A. Short; Kaitlynn E. Short and Lacey N. Foster, at home; three brothers, Rick Snyder and his wife, Rhonda of Black Lick; Randy Snyder and his wife, Sheary of Armagh and Ronald Snyder and his wife, Cathy of Lucernemines; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl McConnell in 1982; a brother, Gregory Snyder in 1993; a nephew, Jeremy Snyder in 1993; maternal grandparents, Paul and Hazel Smith and paternal grandparents, Merle and Marie Snyder.The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 P.M. Thursday in the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. Jason R. McConnell officiating.Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
