Timothy James Watkins, Sr., 41, of Bradenville, PA formerly of Blairsville passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Mountain View Specialty Care Center, Greensburg, PA.The son of Phillip G. Watkins, Sr. and Kathleen R. (Rubino) Watkins Baird, he was born March 15, 1968 in Latrobe, PA.Tim was a member of the Blairsville United Methodist Church and Sigma Phi Epsilon.He graduated from Blairsville High School in 1986 and from Thiel College in 1991.He was involved with the Derry Midget Football program.Surviving are two children, a son, Timmy J. Watkins Jr. and a daughter, Amber A. Watkins, both of Latrobe; father, Phillip G. Watkins Sr. of Ligonier; stepfather, Perry W. Baird of Blairsville; brother, Phillip G. Watkins, Jr. and his wife, Joanna of Wichita, Kansas; two sisters, Cristal D. Baird of Pittsburgh and Rebecca L. Baird of Blairsville.He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen R. Watkins Baird in 2005 and maternal grandmother, Pauline Bombuli in 1994.The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday in the funeral home with Rev. Terry Shaffer officiating.Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
