Nathan Craig Miller, 30, of Glassport, PA formerly of Blairsville passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.The son of Robert Craig and Linda Lou (Wilson) Miller, he was born January 21, 1979 in Indiana, PA.Nathan graduated from Blairsville High School in 1997 and from IUP with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.He loved remote control cars, enjoyed sports and was a steeler fan.He worked as a steelworker.Surviving are his parents, Robert and Linda Miller of Blairsville; brother, Patrick R. Miller and his fiancée, Cheryl Fleming of Blairsville; paternal grandparents, Gerry and Ken Baker of Blairsville; maternal grandmother, Betty Wilson of Homer City; and three uncles, Mark Miller and his wife, Mary Jo of Blairsville; Jerry Wilson and his wife, Rhetta of Homer City; Fred Wilson and his wife, Linda of Cherry Tree and several cousins.He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles R. Miller in 1994 and his maternal grandfather, Alfred Wilson in 1996.The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 P.M. Saturday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut Street, Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home with Rev. Cory A. Braatz officiating.
