Philip J. Minarcik, 84, of Blairsville, PA (Black Lick Twp.) passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at St. Andrew's Village, Indiana, PA.The son of Philip P. and Theresa (Mravec) Minarcik, he was born January 1, 1925 in Blairsville, PA.Mr. Minarcik lived his entire life in Black Lick Twp. He was a dairy farmer for 74 years and received numerous awards in dairy farming. Surviving are a sister, Teresa Tomasik and husband, Andrew of Bridgeport, WV; four nephews, Andrew P. Tomasik, James P. Tomasik, Robert J. Tomasik and Bill J. Tomasik and a niece, Susan P. Farley.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Paul Minarcik.Private visitation and funeral services will be held at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PAInterment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA
