Maureen Rose (Marron) Moss, 38, of Blairsville, PA (Derry Twp.) passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at home following a short battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family.The daughter of Joseph C. and Gloria R. (Gordish) Marron, she was born June 17, 1970 in Indiana, PA.Maureen was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville and was the treasurer of Indiana Bellco Federal Credit Union.She graduated from Derry Area High School in 1988 and worked as the office manager for Bob Ray Communication Services, Latrobe.Maureen loved traveling and being at Walt Disney World.Surviving are her husband, Thomas Moss to whom she married October 21, 1989; two daughters, Ashley Moss and Kirstie Moss, both at home; her parents, Joseph and Gloria Marron of Blairsville; maternal grandmother, Frances Gordish of Blairsville; three brothers and three sisters, Valerie Conrad and husband, David of Blairsville; Mark Marron and wife, Stacy of King of Prussia; Mathew Marron and wife, Michele of Newark, DE; Angela Rhea and husband, David of Blairsville; Rosann Carney and husband, Eric of Thompson's Station, TN and Eric Marron and friend, Hanna of Las Vegas, NV; eight nieces and nephews, Josh, Jeremy, Emily, Grant, David, Joseph, Mackenzie and Belle and several aunts, uncles and cousins.She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Eugene Gordish and paternal grandparents, John Sr. and Margaret Marron. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held on Friday at 8:30 P.M. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA with Fr. Chester J.
