Yolunda Marie (Trausi) Kwisnek, 92, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at her home.The daughter of Louis and Celesta (Tanzi) Trausi, she was born July 28, 1916 in Waterman, PA.Mrs. Kwisnek was of the catholic faith.She lived her entire life in the Palmerton area and had worked as a cook for 28 years at the Celia Cribbs Nursing Home, Black Lick. Surviving are three sons, Louis F. Kwisnek of Warren, Mass; Charles M. Kwisnek and wife, Sara of Eastlake, Ohio and Frank P. Kwisnek and wife, Gladys of Shelocta; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Kwisnek in 1990; three brothers, Amelio Trausi, Vando Trausi and Gulielmo Trausi and a sister, Jackie Hoyas.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A Prayer service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
