Donna L. (Patterson) Fatora Ishman, 70, of Black Lick, PA passed away on Monday, March 16, 2009 at St. Andrew's Village, Indiana, PA.The daughter of Olaf and Anna Marie (Crusan) Patterson, she was born April 10, 1938 in Black Lick, PA.Mrs. Ishman was a very active member of the Free Methodist Church, Black Lick, where she played the piano. She attended church camp, was involved in adult ministries and was a district conference level delegate. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, wedding planning and loved working on family genealogy.Prior to her retirement in 1997, she worked for 30 years in the insurance industry. She worked for the Frick Insurance Agency, Koontz and George Insurance and the Insurance Market, all of Indiana and was the owner of Ishman Insurance Agency, Black Lick. Surviving are two daughters, Georgenne Gillespie and husband, Scott of Apollo and Karen Riggenbach of Black Lick; three grandchildren, Madelyn Gillespie, Alex Riggenbach and Morgan Riggenbach; two sisters, Lois Faulkner of Champaign, IL and Melva Odom of West Monroe, LA.She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul Patterson.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut Street, Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Darrell Carney officiating.Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
