Ann Theresa (Zofchak) Maschack, 89, of Medina, OH passed away on Monday, March 9, 2009 at the Metro Health Medical Center, Cleveland, OH.The daughter of George and Mary (Hruska) Zofchak, she was born May 12, 1919 in Aultman, PA.Mrs. Maschack was of the catholic faith.She is survived by a son, Matthew Maschack and wife, Charlotte of Medina, OH; a granddaughter, Jaden Maschack of Medina, OH; a sister, Margaret Hanslee of Bethel Park, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John on July 12, 1998; three brothers, Joseph, George and John and two sisters, Mary Kostelik and Elizabeth McCormick.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake Service will be held at 8:30 P.M. Wednesday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
