Viola Grace (Ruddock) Brown, 84, of Blairsville, PA formerly of Indiana, PA passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the Keeper of the Flame, Blairsville.The daughter of David and Emma Clarice (Moore) Ruddock, she was born July 1, 1924 in Revloc, Cambria County, PA.The family moved to Coal Run when she was a child and then to Indiana where she attended school. She resided in Indiana until moving to Blairsville four years ago when she became a resident of Keeper of the Flame.Mrs. Brown was a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church, Indiana, for over 69 years. She worked at McCrory's Five and Ten and Rural Electric and was a devoted housewife and mother.She is survived by a son, Terry Brown and wife, Barbara of Blairsville; a daughter, Beverly Cramer and husband, Kevin of Ft. Mill, South Carolina; a daughter-in-law, Doreen Brown of Indiana; three granddaughters, Heather Zaffuta and husband, Samuel; Holly Kikel and husband, Christopher and Shelly Davis and husband, Anderson; one great-granddaughter, Emma Zaffuta; two sisters, June Jones and Mary Lois Litzinger, both of Indiana; a sister-in-law, Ruth Ruddock of Ohio and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Robert C. Brown in 2005; a son, R. Gregory Brown in 1997; a granddaughter, Julie Brown in 1997; three brothers, David, Edwin and her twin brother, William and a sister, Betty Lou Ganley.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. Timothy R.
