Granville Clark Randolph, Sr., 81, of Indiana, PA passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.The son of Grant and Sarah Mae (Jenkins) Randolph, he was born September 6, 1926 in Blairsville, PA.Mr. Randolph was a member of the former Church of the Bible Covenant, Josephine, PA and the Teamsters Union.He was a veteran of the US Army and was employed by Dietrich Industries, Blairsville, as a truck driver, retiring in 2002.Surviving are nine children, Rosiline Kay Randolph of Armagh; Granville C. Randolph Jr. of Indiana; Rasheena L. Spiaggi (Ron) of Indiana; Curtis E. Randolph of Pittsburgh; Charles A. Randolph of Shelocta; L. Jamie Randolph of Indiana; Kathryn C. Turner (Gerald) of Whiteland, Indiana; Bethany A. Bialik (Dan) of Springlake, Michigan and N. Renee Randolph of Butler; 13 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Clara Norris and Sarah Anna Rigby both of Akron, Ohio.He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George Lee Randolph and a sister, Georgia Leah Woods.The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Saturday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. Gerald D. Mershimer and Elder Stanford Webb Jr. co-officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery.Veteran services will be accorded by the Blairsville VFW Post #5821 and the American Legion #0407.
