Clara May (George) Peace, 78, of Blairsville, PA (Blacklick Twp.) passed away on Monday, June 23, 2008 at her home.The daughter of William and Lois (Stivison) George, she was born May 27, 1930 in Indiana, PA.Mrs. Peace was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, Lewisville.She graduated from Indiana High School in 1947 and from Indiana Normal School (IUP) with a degree in nursing in 1951.She worked in the emergency room at Indiana Hospital, she was the school nurse at Blairsville High School and, also, worked at the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana. Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Peace and husband, Dr. Matt Klain and two granddaughters, Zoe Peace and Abigail Peace.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell Glenn Peace in 1994 and a brother, Max George.There will be no visitation or funeral services.Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville.Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana County Humane Society, 65 Haven Drive, Indiana, PA 15701 or to the Four Footed Friends, 220 Beck Road, Indiana, PA 15701.
