Jeanne Irene (McIntire) McConnell, 80, of Black Lick, PA passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at St. Andrew's Village, Indiana, PA.The daughter of Hugh Raymond and Nellie (Hysong) McIntire, she was born February 4, 1928 inWest WheatfieldTwp., PA.Mrs. McConnell lived most of her life in the Black Lick area.She worked for Campus Sportswear, Indiana, and also, worked for Celia Cribbs Rest Home, Black Lick, retiring in 1960.Surviving are four children, William McConnell Jr. and wife, Judy of Blairsville; Robert McConnell and wife, Debora of Black Lick; Brenda Pizer and husband, Robert of Blairsville and L. Marlene Stone and husband, Wilbur of Black Lick; 10 grandchildren, Jason McConnell, Amy McConnell, Billy McConnell, Holly Ashbaugh, Amanda Jones, Neil Stone, Kerry Kelly, Heidi Kelly, Jerry Kelly and Emily Pizer; 14 great grandchildren; two brothers, Dean McIntire of Blairsville and Raymond Dale McIntire and wife, Barbara of Robinson; sister-in-law, Norma McIntire of Vintondale; thoughtful family friend, Robert Witmere of Cherry Tree and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William McConnell Sr. in 1996 and a brother, George.In keeping with Mrs. McConnell's wishes, services will be private. Her grandson, Rev.
