Henry E. "Hank" Kukula, Sr., 67, of Blairsville, PA (Burrell Twp.) passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.The son of Stanley and Sophie (Ligus) Kukula, he was born March 25, 1941 in Brushvalley Twp., PA.Mr. Kukula was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Coral, PAHis first love was his family and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.Prior to his retirement in 1999, he was employed by FMC for 34 years. He also was a bus driver for Krise Bus Company for six years.Surviving are his wife, Linda M. (Berezansky) Kukula whom he married on June 12, 1965; two sons, Hank Jr. and wife, Marilyn of Blairsville and David and wife, Diane of Hilliard, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Joseph, Amy, Daniel, Caitlin, Emily, Sarah, Rachel and Madeline; brother, Stanley of Forest Hills, MD; two sisters, Patricia Kukula of Blairsville and Marlene Huczko of New Florence.He was preceded in death by his parents.The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Friday and from 12 to 1 P.M. Saturday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 1:30 P.M. in St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Coral, PA with Monsignor Larry Kiniry as celebrant.Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Coral, PA.
