Donna Jean (Clawson) Gorton, 71, of Saltsburg, PA passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, PA.A daughter of Norman and Olivie (Deemer) Clawson, she was born September 24, 1936 in Conemaugh Twp., PA.Mrs. Gorton lived her entire life in Conemaugh Twp. on the farm where she was born and raised.Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Robert W. Gorton Sr. whom she married September 11, 1961; a son, Robert W. Gorton Jr. of Saltsburg and a sister, Nancy J. Murphy of Clarksburg.She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Dan Murphy.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Jason L. McQueen officiating.Interment will be in Conemaugh Cemetery, Conemaugh Twp., PA.
