Elinor Mae (Yates) Simanovich, 85, formerly of Brenizer, PA passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Loyalhanna Care Center, Latrobe, PA.A daughter of Clarence and Margaret (Eckles) Yates, she was born March 29, 1923 at Fayette City, PA.Mrs. Simanovich was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville.Surviving are a son, William N. Simanovich Sr. and wife, Janet of Mt. Plesant and a daughter, Laurel Klosnick and husband, John of Latrobe; five grandchildren, William Simanovich Jr.and wife, Paula,Timothy Simanovich and wife, Melissa,Todd Klosnick, Ryan Klosnick and Tara Klosnick and three great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nick Simanovich Jr. on February 28, 2002 and three sisters, Betty Smith, Doris Cribbs and Audrey Smith.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. John McMannus officiating.Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
