James Lawrence Foster, 21, of New Florence, PA passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Seward, PA as the result of an automobile accident.The son of Samuel R. and Cindy L. (Bailey) Foster, he was born June 27, 1986 in Johnstown, PA.James graduated from United High School with the class of 2004 and was an EMT.He was a member of the Community Bible Church of West Bolivar and Hampton's Battery F Civil War Reenactment Group.Surviving are his parents of New Florence; a brother, Justin R. of New Florence; maternal grandmother, Ethel V. (Duncan) Bailey of New Florence and several cousins.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lawrence Bailey in 2000; paternal grandfather James G. Foster Sr. in 1960 and paternal grandmother, Emma Janet (Rowlley) Foster in 1953.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Elwood Pfaunmiller officiating.Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, West Wheatfield Twp., PA.
