Julia Ann (Flasick) Prola, 89, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Loyalhanna Care Center, Latrobe, PA.The daughter of Joseph and Anna V. (Sieczkowski) Flasick, she was born March 31, 1918 in Slickville, PA.Mrs. Prola was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville.Her passion in life was her family and cooking for them. She enjoyed walking through Blairsville while she was able.Surviving are four sons, Victor J. Prola of Blairsville; Joseph S. Prola and wife, Joyce of Blairsville; Frank R. Prola and wife, Debbie of Blairsville and Richard J. Prola and wife, Mary of Severn, MD; a daughter, Lillian Neal and husband, William of Lorain, OH; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Flasick of Brenizer and a sister Dolly Bosco and husband, Nick of Brenizer.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Victor Richard Prola on September 25, 1984 and three brothers, John, Frank and Stanley Flasick.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held at 8:30 P.M. Wednesday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA with Fr. Chester J.
