Effie Jean (Erb) Robb, 85, of New Derry, PA passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at St. Andrews Village, Indiana, PAThe daughter of Odis R. and Nellie E. (Libengood) Erb, she was born July 26, 1922 in Strangford, PAMrs. Robb was a member of the New Derry Methodist Church and prior to retiring, she worked in the cafeteria at the New Derry School.Surviving are a sister, Betty (Erb) McGinity of Strangford; a niece, Nellie (Bost) Risinger of Strangford; three nephews, John Bost of Ashtabula, Ohio; Odis McGinity of Latrobe and George Bost Jr. of Blairsville; and several great nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph Robb in 1999; an infant son, Martin and a sister, Margaret (Erb) Bost in 1969.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA
